Veneers in Calgary, AB

Porcelain veneers in cosmetic dentistry are quickly becoming the solution most often opted for by patients due to their ability to correct misaligned, chipped, stained, or misshaped teeth.

The Background Work

While most people are candidates for the porcelain veneer portion of a smile makeover, it’s still important that a patient’s overall oral health be in good standing prior to any cosmetic dentistry procedure — specifically, patients with conditions such as tooth decay, gum disease or cracks. You can make an appointment now with Comfort Care Dental to find out if you’re ready to start the process for dental veneers in Calgary, AB.

Once your overall oral health has been managed, porcelain veneers (either on one tooth or many teeth) can be considered the solution of choice for your smile makeover.

It’s a Non-Invasive Solution

Your comfort is our priority. The procedure for porcelain veneers is considered non-invasive by nature, and in most cases, there’s not even a need for anesthesia. The process can be handled from initial consultation to completion in as little as two office visits (one visit to make an impression and color match the veneer to surrounding teeth, and a second visit to attach the lab created custom veneer to the receiving tooth — or teeth in the case of multiple veneers).

Best appreciated for their durability and practicality, and because veneers are made of porcelain, they are incredibly resistant to chipping and staining. In fact, they typically last anywhere from 10 to 15 years.

Not a Candidate for Veneers? No Worries, There’s an Alternative!

While the use of porcelain veneers is often the first choice to address the issues mentioned, should a patient find themselves not to be an ideal candidate for this particular procedure, other options (such as crowns) are also available to help attain a winning smile.

Get That Perfectly White Smile

To assure that the veneers match the coloration of your surrounding teeth, many dentists will often be recommended that an overall tooth whitening procedure is done prior to the color-matching of any veneers.

With this straightforward approach to an attainable smile makeover; a happy, healthy and radiant smile is definitely within reach. Make your appointment with Comfort Care Dental in Calgary, AB, to see if you are a good candidate for dental veneers in SW Calgary. We welcome patients from the surrounding areas of Sunalta, Beltline, Hillhurst, Downtown West End, Eau Claire, and Lower Mount Royal.
