Mandy
RDA
Mandy joined the Comfort Care Dentistry team in 2013. She has spent the last 13 years as a dental assistant in the downtown area, and enjoys its vibrant and diverse demographic. Knowledgeable in all areas of general dentistry, her passion is helping patients achieve their dental health and cosmetic goals through comprehensive treatment consultation and planning. Mandy enjoys being a part of the gentle patient centered approach Comfort Care offers by providing support to those with dental anxiety. In her spare time, you’ll meet Mandy on the trails hiking, scrambling, snowshoeing, or at a park with her daughter.
Kayla
RDA
Kayla started working at Comfort Care Dentistry in 2017. She is a born and raised Calgarian who has been assisting for almost 5 years. She enjoys working at the office because of the wide variety of treatments Comfort Care offers. When she’s not hard at work, she is either reading a novel or absorbed in her video games. She likes to add a splash of colour to everyone’s day with her hair!

Barbara
RDA
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Barbara graduated from the SAIT Dental Assisting program in 2016 and started working at Comfort Care Dentistry in 2017. She has volunteered with the Alex Dental Health Bus, the SMILES Dental Clinic, and a Change for Children dental brigade in Nicaragua. Barbara enjoys meeting new patients and is thankful for working in a supportive environment with a knowledgeable team. She has a passion for the arts, and in her spare time Barbara loves to paint, make jewelry, and teach Brazilian dance.
Lonnie

Lonnie started at Comfort Care Dentistry as part of the administrative team in May 2008. Her favourite parts about working at Comfort Care Dentistry is her co-workers and the patients. Lonnie entered the dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant in British Columbia when amalgam was still used for fillings. When she’s not at work, Lonnie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, watching movies, and dancing.

Michelle is new to the Comfort Care Dentistry team. She is excited to be part of the team and getting to know patients by name and smile. Michelle was born and raised in Nova Scotia but has lived in Calgary for the past 7 years. She is bilingual, spending her earlier years learning American Sign Language and a bit of French. She loves to bake but can’t make chocolate chip cookies to save her life. What she is most excited for is to begin her new journey with us and all of you!

Catherine has been in the dental field for 8 years now and joined the Comfort Care team back in 2015. Between helping patients with insurance claims and booking their appointments, her favourite thing about the job is meeting the patients who walk through the door and getting to know them. Catherine loves spending time with her husband and her new little cocker spaniel puppy, Flopsy Cuddlesworth. She has an eye for design and loves to re-purpose old furniture with vintage flair while watching Netflix of course.
